and Harris Faulkner may be the greatest deadpan comedienne I’ve ever seen.

That sentence is a nano-summa of English.

It has it all.

Intrigue. Murder. Sports. Domestic life and body politics. Plausible deniability and some well placed commas. All we need is a mention of God.
