Atom and even…

If the unity of energy and mass is so easy to grasp (E=mc^2), why isn’t the analogous unity of body and soul so easily grasped? Energy is by definition immaterial yet causally real; the same holds for the soul! The universal character of 2 is what makes the atoms in this, or any, 2 intelligible on the screen, not vice versa. Yet 2 as such is immaterial, since every physical instance of 2 is an instance of 2 qua intelligible principle. Otherwise we could justifiably say any and every arrangement of atoms is equally called 2. But this is absurd, therefore, etc.
